Account Lead


The Account Lead is responsible for driving powerful experiences and results across a variety of brands, while strengthening relationships with client partners and internal teams. This inspiring leader and teammate must deliver meaningful work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, thoughtfully managing multiple projects and considering multiple perspectives. An Account Lead at Mode is resolute and flexible, patient and persistent, curious and centered; invested in our work, clients, and culture. Top candidates will have at least two years experience in an agency managing client relationships and work ranging from brand strategy to physical and digital extensions, ideally for both regional and national brands.


About the role:

  • Create energetic, collaborative environments for great work to happen, strategically leading teams to achieve client objectives and move their brands forward
  • Understand each client’s business and industry well enough to exceed their expectations, anticipate their needs, and foster new opportunities
  • Communicate effectively and frequently with clients as well as internal teams, keeping everyone engaged, informed, and aligned
  • Develop strong project briefs and brief strongly, inspiring and empowering teams to seize challenges and solve problems
  • Analyze results and report often, internally and externally, sharing how work is measuring against goals alongside opportunities for testing, learning, and improving
  • Partner closely with production team to ensure projects are launched, executed, and completed on budget, strategy and schedule
  • Lead all day-to-day tasks related to account or project, including SOW development, billing and budget management, client status calls, feedback facilitation

About you:

  • College graduate, with a concentration in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business preferred but not required
  • Strategic thinker; able to understand the big picture, drivers, and risks associated with a business problem, yet organized and specific in executing the details
  • Outstanding communicator and connector, with incredible poise and infectious charisma
  • Perceptive and empathetic leader; encouraging and considerate of diverse points of view
  • Adaptable, driven team member; working well independently and as part of a team, whether owning or supporting a project
  • Experienced in leading digital strategy/programs and campaigns, as well as brand development from identity to execution
